Last year, the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) reported USD 32.5 billion in revenues, higher than the USD 29.5 billion in 2021. It also saw an 8.4% increase in the number of full-time employees (FTEs) to 1.57 million. The goal is to hit a revenue of USD 59 billion and a total of 2.5 million FTEs in the next six years, 54% of its growth driven by activities in locations outside the National Capital Region (NCR). Currently, around 250,000 are employed by over 300 companies in Cebu.
